PROBLEM

Simple Email Form module was working OK.  Upgraded to Joomla 3.2.  Now the form appears to submit successfully but emails are not being sent.

DISCUSSION

Apparently Joomla 3.2 now performs a *real* validation of the email address in the "From" field.

SOLUTION

Enter a valid address in the "From" field.  Unfortunately you cannot force website visitors to do the same.  We are still working on a way to trap the error from Joomla.

Upgrade to version 1.8.5 (or higher)  If you disable email checking, the default value you configure for the "From" field will be substituted for the one supplied by the user.  If you enable email checking, an HTML5 email input field will be used which will warn the users if they enter an invalid email address.
